Street Wear Color Riche Lip Color is an affordable range of
creamy lipsticks by Street Wear. You get as much as 30 shades to choose from ranging
from pinks to red to peaches and browns as well. The one which I will review
today is Creamy Brown which is a nice neutral brown shade.
Ingredients:
Not mentioned.
The lipstick comes in a black and silver cylindrical packaging;
the lipstick is encased in a silver bullet. There is nothing fancy about the
packaging. It’s rather cheap. The plastic material used is of a very bad quality
and is not sturdy at all. The bullet which holds the lipstick can break any
moment. The cap is also very loose. It does not shut with a click sound and the
cap can come off any moment if you keep it in a handbag. The lipstick is not
travel friendly.
Street Wear Colour rich Lip Color range of lipsticks is
basically creamy lipstick. The texture of the lipstick is very smooth. There is
no tugging or dragging and it glides on lips like butter. The lippies are also
very soft and can melt if not stored in a cool place .The lip colour smells
like coconut to me. I am not a pro at describing smells, but I’m quite sure
about this one. This one smells exactly like coconut. It’s kind of ok with it.
The smell is not very strong though.. The pigmentation is quite decent. One
swipe gives medium coverage but might not be able to cover the lip
pigmentation. Since it is a light colour you have to try two to three swipes to
get an intense colour. The lipstick does not settle in fine lines.
My views:
I got this lipstick from an online shop after reading some mixed reviews about these lipsticks. Since it costs only Rs 160, I thought of trying them out, and thought that even if it doesn’t work, it won’t pinch too hard on my pocket. This is a budget lipstick and it’s difficult to get a lipstick at such price from any good brand. You get a plethora of shades to choose from. They have some really beautiful shades like pink pie and rusty orange and several other shades which you should really try. I have two, three more from this range which I will be reviewing soon.
The con with this lipstick is its staying power. The staying
power of this lipstick is very low. The lipstick stays for not more than 3 hours on me sans eating
and drinking and then fades gradually. The
dark shades might stay for a longer time but since this is a light shade, the
pigmentation is also not very great and the staying power is also low. This
lipstick sets to a nice semi finish after a while of application. But the turn
off is its cheap packaging. But
considering its price, you cannot expect much from it. But since they offer
some really wonderful shades you should try at least one from this range.
lovely lip swatch. you have got beautiful lips
