Purely Pro Blush Shade Lovely

Hello every one! Today I’m reviewing a lovely coral pink blush from an American based brand, Purely Pro Cosmetics. I received a sample size of this product in the February Vellvette box and this is by far the best of all the samples I’ve received in my beauty box.

What the company claims about the product:
Our soft blush powder comes in a special, light texture which glides on smoothly and evenly. The sheer formula is light weight and highly pigmented providing the perfect product to enhance the cheek bones and create contours. Purest ingredients. Long lasting, highly pigmented. Professional quality. Not tested on animals.

How to apply:
To apply, swirl your brush across the surface of the blush and then tap lightly to dust off excess pigment. Lightly apply the blush from mid cheek to temple- tracing the cheek bone for a contoured look. Else smile and apply it to the apple of your cheeks for a more youthful look. If you’re not a blush user and don’t have a brush, don’t worry – your fingers, if used gently, you can crate magical effect. Just make sure- you blend well, blend till you get the right amount of pigment.
Price:
Rs 1425
Weight:
3.7 grams.
 Ingredients:
Refer the image below.

Packaging:
The blush comes packed in a cute silver round case with a screw lid. A round pan is housed in a black casing which holds the pan. The lid is transparent which makes it easy to locate if you more than one blush of this brand.  The ingredients are mentioned at the bottom of the container. The case is quite sturdy and travel friendly. A very simple yet elegant packaging.
Texture:
The blush is finely milled and is smooth on application but the texture is quite powdery. The blush is completely shimmer less and has a semi matte finish. It is fragrance free but smells exactly like Multani Mitti. The pigmentation of the blush is good but not great. You will need at least three swipes for it to show properly on cheeks. The blush blends easily and does not get patchy while blending and stays even as it fades.

My Experience:
Lovely is a coral pink shade with a semi matte finish. The colour look coral pink in the pan but transforms into a pretty peachy pink which gives a very natural look. It is a universally flattering shade and shows up well on all skin tones from the palest to the duskiest ones. The blush can be worn with a wide variety of looks and eye makeup. I had worn this with purple eye shadow and golden brown shadow and it looked great with both the looks.
Staying power of this blush is also decent. The blush stayed for 5+ hours on me and did not fade completely even after five hours. I had to remove it with my cleansing milk. Since it has no shimmer you can safely wear it during day time for office/work.       It gives a soft flush of colour to the cheeks which does not look over the top. Since it is matte shade, you can even use it for contouring the face.
Since the texture is a bit powdery, you will witness fall out when you swipe the brush across the pan. So instead of swirling, just touch the brush on the blush surface to avoid wastage. I wore it a couple of times and it did not irritate the skin or break me out.
The blush is quite good but it’s too pricey. I won’t recommend this product to anyone solely because of the price factor. It is quite pricey and you can get better blushes in India (read MAC) at much less price. For now I’m just enjoying the sample.

Summing up the pros and cons:
Pros:
Long staying power.
Decent pigmentation.
Pretty colour.
Does not get patchy or uneven
Cons:
Fall out.
Powdery texture.
Expensive.
I would give it a 4 on 5
Adios.
